The scale of the things.

Feet win.

Wrist Watch

Been busy this weekend trying to make the replica wristwatch. It takes a lot longer than you think.
I'm not sure that I'm making the straps quite right. The pins will be cut down to size so they don't stick out.

Toys: Wooden Family

Finally got the right sized dowel for the necks.

I'm going to re-do the arms. If it doesn't work, I'll stick with the old ones.

Toys: Wooden Family

The Cyclops Family
Started adding the arms. They look more like characters now rather than some shapes.
I'm not happy with the arms though and might re-do them.

Toys: Wooden Family

I've decided to go with the cyclops family idea. People seem to like it more than birdy.

The family so far...

Toys: Metal Vehicle

Finally got around to welding today and I don't mean the sort of welding that goes on in 'Flashdance'. I didn't weld 2 random pieces of metal together, the pieces i welded had purpose.
Pictured: Not flashdance
It looks unneat at the moment but I'll file down the welds a bit later because I think I've done enough today.

It hurts when I click the mouse.

Just the wheels and the plastic coating to do.

Toys: Metal Vehicle

Just need to weld it together now and add wheels.

Yup, I wish I hadn't gone for the scoobydoomobile.

Stupid barcode stuff

I hate photoshop. I also hate how i've forgotten to put the barcode numbers on the pictures.

Toys: Cyclops idea

Originated from when I plonked a round piece of metal on a square piece. I thought it looked like a face.

Change of plan. Think Cyclops'

Toys: Wooden Family

Top Row: Apples with faces.
Second Row: Fat people (didn't intentionally make it look like the pepsi symbol)
Third Row: Jaws, Flipper, Willy
Last Row: Blackbird or summat.
Yup, I'm struggling with ideas for this one.

Toys: Metalwork

Ideas for the metal transport toy. I decided to make forms from fictional vehicles.

The mystery machine looked the easiest, here's the technical drawing of it.

The two main pieces cut. I need to file down the edges, create the roof rack, add the spare tyre, cut holes for the wheels, weld it all together and then paint it!
