You are to visit to a company or organisation, if this not possible you may be able to use searchable databases and company information such as annual reports brochures etc in the construction of your presentation or report. The subject matter of your presentation or report. The subject of the presentation is your choice, but the material must be compiled in such a way as to inform thereader of as many aspects of the company and its products as possible.
It must cover some elements of production theory or materials and processes and have relevance to design. The following are examples of some of the topics covered over the last few years.

Fabriaction Company
Surface Finishers
Engineering Company
Mountain Bike manufacture
Design department within a product company
Typically you should try to visit theorganisation and interview a relevant memberof staff, obtain samples and literature and wherever possible take photos or make a video of the visit.
